Our hotel is located 396 metres above sealevel above the lake of Lugano on a 85´000m2 vast terrain.
The region here, the Malcantone, is a hilly landscape full of woods and Mediterranean vegetation reaching from the gulf of Agno on lake Lugano up to the Monte Lema. It is ideal for hikers and bikers and 2003 received the award “Swiss Pur” from the Swiss tourist organisation.
This region is the only Swiss canton situated entirely south of the Alps: here is where the Mediterranean South starts!
