The Pro Israel Association in Thun is once again organizing an Israel Week with Rainer Schmidt this year. He has lived in Israel with his wife since 1991 as a freelance journalist and author. Through his travels and experiences, the publicist shows the background and context of the conflict in the Middle East, the Jewish roots of the Christian faith, Judaism and biblical prophecy. He is the editor of Schai Israel Update, a news and information service based in Jerusalem.
