Logo – the olive tree

A young olive tree stands to the left and right of the entrance to Hotel Paladina. This Mediterranean, richly branched, evergreen tree has long inspired us. Olive trees can live for several hundred years, taking decades to reach their full yield. For a good harvest, they must be pruned regularly—the more twisted and gnarled they become, the better the fruit. Olive and olive oil are indispensable in the culinary world. The finest olive oil comes from hand-picked olives, cold-pressed and carefully centrifuged. The olive branch, held in the beak of the dove of peace, is also a timeless symbol of harmony and hope.

The logo reflects our Christian values: we are lovingly cared for by God so that our lives may blossom and bear fruit. He tends to us by hand, with care and attention. He writes straight, even on crooked lines. The oil also symobilzes his spirit – and the olive branch represents His kingdom of peace. May our guests go home refreshed, encouraged and inspired.
