Kozelka Helena

Helene Kozelka worked for many years in Uganda, where she set up and managed a Christian AIDS orphanage. Now, back in Switzerland, she uses her wealth of experience as a church warden and is entrusted with the diaconal work of the Uster church community. Helena Kozelka built an AIDS orphanage in Uganda for and with the God Helps Foundation and ran it for many years. It was the ever-changing imponderables on the ground that regularly put her faith and understanding of the Word to the test. It is hard to imagine that God's love could shine through so much suffering - and yet this happened again and again. Helena currently works as a church warden in Uster in the broad area of social welfare. This includes the organization of intergenerational projects and representation in the global church.
