Karl Müller, born in 1952, originally holds a Dipl. Masch. He emigrated to South Korea in 1979, where he studied Korean and Chinese. Due to the civil war, he ended his state scholarship and became a successful entrepreneur in Seoul "by chance". In 1989 he became seriously ill, sold everything and returned to Switzerland, where he was self-sufficient for 10 years and founded a drug home. With his Korean wife Jungsuk, he raised 4 children of his own and 3 foster children. In 1995 he reached his financial limits and God turned him into a shoe entrepreneur. MBT became world famous. Müller employed several thousand people and produced around 4 million pairs of shoes in China, Vietnam and Korea. After selling the company, he founded kybun and returned to Switzerland with production. Today, Müller employs almost 100 people, operates a health world with experience production - kybun world - in Sennwald SG, and with the kybunpark is also the namesake of the FC St. Gallen football stadium, among other things.
