Peter and his wife Bernice have been serving in the OM ministry since 1980. Since 2017, they have been working in a new branch of OM: European Riverboat Ministry. Personalities who love and encourage people. They are native South Africans. After high school, Peter served with Youth for Christ and completed his military service in RSA. Peter continued to work with Youth for Christ and served as regional director in the Transkei region, living and ministering among the Xhosa (Nelson Mandela's tribe). While working as a youth pastor at the Baptist Theological College in Johannesburg, he met his current wife Bernice. Now married 33 years, they have 3 daughters together: Frances (26), Lyndall (24), and Robyn (20). Peter pastored 2 churches in South Africa and served on the Board and as Chairperson of OM South Africa. He and his wife were involved in OM's ships (Doulos & Logos II) for many years and were primarily responsible for this work between 2009-2017. He was also Field Director of OM England.
