When we compare the information from the media about the origin of the earth and life with what we read in the Bible, many questions arise: - Is it true that everything we see was created by chance and evolution over very long periods of time? - We see mountains and valleys and wonder: How can they have been created? We see mountains and valleys and ask ourselves: How could they have been formed? - Perhaps some of us have already found fossils and wondered what they can tell us about the past? - What can we know about the age of the earth from science and the Bible? During this week, we will take a closer look at the impressive landscape with its different rocks in Ticino as well as the Bible on our geological hikes and excursions! Martin ERNST will offer lectures and Bible studies in consultation with the participants. If the participants are interested, we can also visit a quarry or a natural history museum and observe the objects on site and learn to distinguish between data and interpretations. Program: By arrangement with the participants: Daily Bible studies or lectures or half-day and day excursions in Ticino, some with magnificent panoramic views of the Alps. Detailed explanations on the excursions on geology and intensive Bible studies in Paladina during the week. At the request of the participants, a greater focus can also be placed on the Bible studies! Public transport is included for the excursions / hikes (guest card); mountain railroads and lunch at own expense, insurance is the responsibility of the participants. There is no participation fee, but voluntary donations to GEO-EXX gGmbH are very welcome!
